Associate Professor of Conservation Chemistry at the University of Florence and member of CSGI, he is a leading international expert in the application of nanotechnologies to cultural heritage conservation.
His research focuses on the development of innovative materials for consolidation and protection, with a sustainable and compatible approach. He has participated in several European projects and authored over 160 scientific publications.
