Since 2018, Luciano Ricciardi has served as an Official Conservator-Restorer at the Ministry of Culture, working within the Paintings on Canvas and Wood Panel Department of the Opificio delle Pietre Dure, where he also carries out research and teaching activities.
Specialising in the structural aspects of panel paintings and industrial wood panels used in contemporary art, he has participated in major study and restoration projects in this field.
Since 2022, he has been the Technical Director of the Wooden Supports Restoration Laboratory at the OPD.
