
Giulia Basilissi is a restorer-conservator official at the Ministry of Culture – Regional Directorate of National Museums of Tuscany. She carries out her activity mainly at the National Archaeological Museum of Florence, where she has held numerous technical management positions for restoration sites.
She completed her training in the sector of conservation and restoration of cultural heritage, initially working as a diagnostician at the University of Florence and subsequently as a restorer at the Opificio delle Pietre Dure, specializing in ceramic and glass materials and artifacts, metals and alloys. She has participated in national and European research projects and is the author of scientific and popular publications.
