Fondazione Opificio presents the program of the new 2026/2027 advanced training courses at the Salone del Restauro in Ferrara
Fondazione Opificio ETS will be present on May 13 at the International Restoration Fair (Salone Internazionale del Restauro) in Ferrara to introduce the new 2026/2027 program of advanced training courses dedicated to the conservation and restoration of cultural heritage.
The new training cycle, curated by the Opificio delle Pietre Dure and promoted by Fondazione Opificio, offers a specialized program aimed at professionals in the fields of conservation, restoration, and cultural heritage management. The program includes 7 theoretical-practical courses and 2 workshops, with the involvement of experts from the Opificio delle Pietre Dure and international professionals. The training activities will explore key topics in the contemporary debate on conservation, from preventive conservation methodologies to innovative materials for restoration, from emergency management to the conservation of contemporary photography, as well as Green Conservation strategies applied to cultural heritage.
Taking part in the Salone del Restauro in Ferrara represents an important opportunity to present the Foundation’s training project to a national and international audience of professionals, scholars, and institutions active in the Cultural Heritage sector, strengthening the dialogue between research, training, and restoration practice.
Established in 2018 by Fondazione CR Firenze, Fondazione Opificio ETS was created with the aim of actively contributing to the enhancement and development of the Opificio delle Pietre Dure, one of the most authoritative international institutions in the field of restoration and conservation of cultural heritage.
