The Fondazione Opificio 2025. Advanced training courses in cultural heritage conservation programme, a project for advanced learning in the conservation and management of cultural heritage devised by the Opificio delle Pietre Dure, is under starter’s orders.
17 May sees the start of a training programme devised by Opificio delle Pietre Dure experts and international lecturers to offer a refresher option from a broader, cross-disciplinary standpoint to professional people working in the field. This year’s topics range from conservation methodologies to innovative materials for restoration, advanced technologies for diagnostics, planning emergency situations on the ground and management and legal aspects, putting to good use the Opificio’s many years’ experience in the field of restoration and research.
The FOP 2025 programme consists of a cycle of 4 seminars and 3 workshops broken down into one or two modules, held either physically on site or live on line, with the additional option to follow the courses in replay. The on-site activities will be held on the Opificio delle Pietre Dure premises in the Fortezza da Basso.
