Short courses
Fondazione Opificio, in collaboration with the Opificio delle Pietre Dure, promotes an advanced training programme consisting of specialised seminars and interdisciplinary workshops focused on the management and conservation of cultural heritage.
Training activities will be delivered both in person in Florence, at the Fortezza da Basso campus, and remotely. The theoretical courses are available in three formats: on-site attendance, live online participation, and on-demand video recordings.
The programme is designed for a community of professionals working in the cultural heritage sector who wish to develop interdisciplinary expertise in risk prevention and management, conservation and diagnostic technologies, innovative restoration methodologies, heritage protection, and cultural policy.
The educational offer includes in-person events, live online sessions, and on-demand video recordings.
Master’s course in the conservation and management of contemporary artworks
The FOP Master’s Programme in the Conservation and Management of Contemporary Works of Art is a specialised course of study that addresses the many complex challenges posed by contemporary art from material, formal, expressive, and interpretative perspectives. These issues are explored through a strongly multidisciplinary yet coherent methodological approach, in keeping with the tradition of the Opificio delle Pietre Dure.
The second edition of the Master’s Programme is scheduled to take place in 2027.
